Stanberry Board talks new HVAC system

The Stanberry Board of Education met earlier this week. Superintendent Bob Heddinger says one of the major items discussed was the possibility of adding a new HVAC system to the gym.

"Mr. Terri Clark, the engineer for that firm, came in and gave about a twenty minute presentation and then there were some questions and answers between him and the board.  And then later on, the board and I talked about what direction to go and so we're going to spend the next couple of meetings talking about that, looking at the finances,  looking at the logistics of that project and seeing if we want to go forward.  Hopefully by the November-December time period, we will have made a decision to go forward and see where that takes us."

Heddinger adds other items discussed were the student health services program and preliminary test data from last spring. Recipients of the Bulldog Pride Award of the month were also selected at Monday's meeting. The next meeting is set for Monday, October 21 at 7 p.m.
